Eduardo Pelaez
CO-FOUNDER
Eduardo, serving as the CEO of Wellmeaning Holdings, brings over two decades of experience from the finance sector in New York to steer the family's diverse business interests in real estate, hospitality, and aviation. Under his visionary leadership,Wellmeaning Investments, the real estate arm of the family office, has established itself as a key player in the identification and cultivation of high-potential, underdeveloped areas. Their strategic approach is centered on creating projects that not only bolster community connections but also elevate the aesthetic appeal of urban landscapes.
One of their signature achievements is the strategic acquisition of Cynergi Wynwood, a move that positioned them as trailblazers in the Wynwood market.
Over the last ten years, Eduardo has guided Wellmeaning Investments to complete real estate transactions exceeding $300 million, significantly expanding their presence in the South Florida market. This expansion includes managing over 400,000 square feet of leasable space, a testament to their growing influence and commitment to urban development.
Eduardo's astute leadership and strategic investment decisions continue to drive the family office's legacy in nurturing community-centric, visually appealing urban spaces, affirming their dedication to community development and urban beautification.

Alvaro Cardenas
CO-FOUNDER
Alvaro is an experienced business development entrepreneur. Over 25 years’ experience in global strategy, finance, retail, brand development, real estate investment and co-development.
He has ventured with family office companies mainly focused on real estate investments and developments. Multiple JV partnerships with developers in South Florida and previously in Venezuela with Sambil Valencia Shopping Center (Sambil is the largest developer in Venezuela).
His corporate roles in Sotheby’s International Realty include leading brand growth internationally to over 80 countries; as well as real estate development advisory. Prior was involved in finance roles in BBVA in Madrid and additional markets.

Emile Schachter
PRINCIPAL - WD CAPITAL ADVISORS
Emile focuses on providing real estate advisory services, underwriting co-investments, along with raising debt and equity for national and international real estate investors and owners.
Previously, Emile worked at Rialto Capital and Bridge Investment Group, both vertically integrated real estate investment management firms, with over $10B of AUM. During his time there he honed his skills in an array of Real Estate focused entities, ranging from Acquisitions, Asset Management, Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities, and B-piece Underwriting.
Emile graduated from Cornell University earning a two-year Master's Degree in Real Estate, with a concentration in Finance and Investments. He is also a graduate (and a Fulbright scholar) of Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM), earning a bachelor's in Civil Engineering.
